What We Do

The DDRB provides funding to developmental disability agencies in St. Charles for the following services:

Funded services include:
  • adult day programs
  • residential services
  • advocacy services
  • supported daycare
  • early intervention
  • family support
  • transitional programs
  • respite
  • sheltered workshop
  • adaptive equipment
  • supported employment
  • recreation

DDRB funding can assist these developmental disability agencies with covering the costs of services, facilities, and equipment.

Case Management
In addition, the DDRB provides case management to individuals with developmental disabilities who are 17 years of age and older. This is the result of a partnership agreement between the Department of Mental Health and the DDRB to ultimately reduce caseload sizes for both organizations.
